Lean Development Manager (Lean Operational Excellence)

Location: Tampere, Finland; travel up to 50%, mainly within Finland and the Nordic countries.

What you will do

• Lead the deployment of Lean and Operational Excellence initiatives across assigned manufacturing plants and suppliers in EMEA and North America.
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost through structured improvement projects and Kaizen activities.
• Coach and train leaders and teams in Lean methodologies and continuous improvement capabilities.
• Help unit leaders and employees analyze performance, identify opportunities, and implement improvements using Lean tools.
• Partner with site leaders, operational teams, and suppliers to implement best practices and achieve sustainable results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in Lean Operational Excellence or Continuous Improvement.
• A few years of experience in manufacturing or supply chain leadership roles, with Lean understanding.
• Solid knowledge of Lean principles, Six Sigma, structured problem solving, and performance management.
• Proven experience leading projects using these methodologies and tools.
• Experience leading change and influencing stakeholders across functions and organizations.
• Advanced English proficiency.
