Team Leader, Production (Quantum Computing)

Location: Onsite at hirify.global Finland in Espoo, Finland, on the production floor.

hirify.global builds full-stack quantum computers, combining quantum hardware and software to address computational challenges beyond the practical limits of classical machines.

What you will do

• Lead the production team day to day and set, track, and communicate weekly and monthly targets and KPIs.
• Plan weekly work with the Production Planner and oversee assembly and testing of quantum-computing subassemblies.
• Use production data, scrap metrics, and non-conformity reporting to improve quality and production flow.
• Bring the right people together to resolve problems and drive issues to closure.
• Develop production processes using Lean principles such as one-piece flow, 5S, and daily management; coach team members while maintaining wellbeing, safety, and quality.
• Own production change management, including product handovers and stakeholder coordination.

Requirements

• Experience leading a team in a technology production or manufacturing environment, ideally with 3+ years leading technicians or operators.
• Experience setting targets, following up on KPIs, and leading change so new processes and ways of working are adopted.
• Hands-on experience applying Lean manufacturing principles, including one-piece flow, 5S, and daily management, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• A degree in engineering or another relevant technical field, or at least 7 years of relevant work experience.
• Understanding of electronics and mechanics design processes, files, and documentation.
• Excellent communication, ownership, problem-solving, adaptability, attention to detail, and focus on quality.

Nice to have

• Understanding of tools, machinery, and systems used in a production environment.
• Background in electronics.
