What you will do

• Lead the Board and Paper Machines R&D portfolio in alignment with business strategy, customer needs, and long-term competitiveness.
• Drive digital transformation, operations development, and line-level technology development for board and paper machine solutions.
• Collaborate with customers, research organizations, universities, development partners, and internal stakeholders across Service, Sales, Procurement, Production, and R&D.
• Represent hirify.global in customer meetings, Technology Days, and industry forums, presenting technology and R&D initiatives.
• Support business and technology decisions through understanding of business processes, operational performance, and financial drivers.
• Contribute to strategy execution and organizational development as a member of the Technology Unit Leadership Team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or another relevant field.
• Solid knowledge of the pulp and paper industry and understanding of project, service, and agreement business processes.
• Proven leadership experience, including people leadership, organizational development, and strategic decision-making.
• Strong project management, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with data analytics, digital solutions, IT system development, AI technologies, or technology architecture.
• Ability to connect R&D priorities with long-term business success and work effectively across organizational boundaries.
