What you will do

• Lead the delivery of strategic initiatives for education and content, including initiatives with significant digital dependencies and enablement.
• Partner with senior executives, especially the Chief Education Officer, to develop strategy, assess opportunities, solve delivery challenges, and support organizational planning.
• Manage strategic initiative portfolios, dependencies, governance, budgets, risks, and course corrections to maintain alignment with strategic outcomes.
• Lead and develop a team of 2–3 Strategy Delivery Managers, setting objectives, coaching performance, and supporting team effectiveness.
• Own and continuously improve the governance, tools, frameworks, and processes of the Strategy Delivery System.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in strategy with senior executives, ideally at C-suite or Board level, and leading strategic initiative or project teams.
• Proven experience in strategy development, including framing problems, building options and business cases, and securing executive decisions.
• Proven experience delivering complex portfolios of strategic initiatives.
• Experience in education, such as school systems, curriculum or assessment bodies, education non-profits, edtech, or education consulting, with an understanding of how schools, teachers, and learners experience change.
• Experience with technology in education or technology strategy, including digital learning platforms, AI in teaching, learning and assessment, data, or digital products; hands-on technical delivery is not required.
• Educational background in business, strategy, education, technology, or a related field. An MBA, Master’s in Education or Technology, or equivalent experience is desirable.
• Deep understanding of strategic planning, strategy development, and project or portfolio management methodologies.
• Strong data analysis skills, proficiency with project management software and tools, and comfort using data and AI-enabled tools for analysis and synthesis.
• Strong understanding of the international education landscape, including curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, school and teacher needs, and policy and market trends.
• Strategic leadership, change leadership, influencing, relationship building, complex problem-solving, communication, adaptability, and situational leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the hirify.global continuum.
• Working knowledge of education technology and AI trends, including data privacy, ethics, academic integrity, and build, buy, or partner options.
• Master’s degree or MBA, or equivalent experience.
