Analytics Engineer (Regulatory Reporting)

What you will do

• Own the engineering scope of regulatory reporting, including pipelines, data models, formats, quality checks, releases, and coordination with engineering, data platform, and product teams.
• Run recurring monthly and quarterly regulatory reports and data extractions accurately and on time.
• Update existing reports and build new reports as requirements change.
• Build lakehouse pipelines, governed datasets, and semantic models behind regulatory reports.
• Generate external formats, including XML, and support submissions.
• Implement business checks, data quality standards, alerting, reusable requirements, data contracts, and self-service datasets.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on technical experience in data, data engineering, analytics engineering, or technical analytics.
• Expert-level SQL and working Python, including generating files in formats such as XML.
• Experience with data pipelines and a data warehouse or lakehouse.
• Ability to turn technical requirements into working reports and adjust existing reports.
• Ability to act as a technical point of contact across teams and drive work involving multiple stakeholders.
• Precision is prioritized over speed when the two conflict.
• Ability and interest to own the data behind a process rather than only close tickets.
• Suitable backgrounds include engineering experience moving into analytics or analytics experience supported by solid engineering skills.
• Working English is required.

Nice to have

• Regulatory or external reporting experience.
• Experience with XML schemas, report exports, or integrations with external recipients.
• Experience with dbt, Databricks, or Spark.
• Background in fintech, banking, insurance, investments, trading, or government projects.
