About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Consultant (EWM/LE) to join an international project on a remote, contract basis.
The role focuses on supporting and enhancing SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Logistics Execution (LE) solutions within a manufacturing environment.
You will be responsible for overseeing the Hypercare phase, maintaining and optimizing existing SAP logistics processes, implementing system enhancements, and supporting international rollouts.
The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience with SAP EWM/LE, strong SAP Customizing expertise, and a deep understanding of manufacturing logistics processes.
Responsibilities
— Manage and support the Hypercare phase within the SAP EWM environment, including international locations.
— Provide technical support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of existing SAP EWM and LE processes.
— Analyze and optimize logistics processes, particularly production supply, production disposal, and outbound logistics.
— Perform SAP EWM/LE Customizing and implement Change Requests.
— Coordinate and manage external service providers to ensure successful delivery of SAP-related activities.
— Collaborate with business departments, key users, and related process teams to align technical solutions with business requirements.
— Provide consulting and technical expertise during SAP rollouts and extensions of existing solutions.
— Conduct training sessions for key users and prepare relevant documentation and training materials.
— Participate in project planning, coordination, and implementation activities.
— Ensure the stability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of SAP logistics solutions.
Requirements
— Extensive professional experience with SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) and SAP LE (Logistics Execution) at a senior level.
— Strong understanding of logistics and warehouse management processes within the manufacturing industry.
— Proven hands-on experience with SAP EWM and LE Customizing.
— Solid knowledge of production supply, production disposal, and outbound logistics processes.
— Experience supporting SAP implementations, Hypercare phases, and system rollouts.
— Experience in subproject leadership, coordination, or management of SAP-related activities.
— Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
— Experience collaborating with key users, business stakeholders, and external service providers.
— Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
— Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
— Very good German language skills for professional communication.
— Good English language skills for working in an international environment.
