SAP Transit Warehousing Specialist

Location: Remote; U.S. citizenship required. Must be able to obtain a Federal Secret security clearance; active clearance preferred.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end configuration, implementation, integration, and support for SAP TM Transit Warehousing and SAP EWM within SAP S/4HANA.
• Integrate SAP TM Freight Order Management with SAP EWM delivery processes, including mappings, order types, categories, warehouse-request item types, and transportation requirements.
• Manage inbound and outbound transportation execution, including freight-unit creation, planning, freight-order creation, load plans, loading appointments, notifications, and execution-status management.
• Configure and administer SAP Fiori Transportation Management applications, target mappings, catalogs, and business roles.
• Configure Advanced Shipping and Receiving, yard operations, transportation units, vehicle master data, and the SAP EWM Integration Profile.
• Troubleshoot complex TM–EWM integration issues and support federal compliance, configuration-management, change-control, documentation, and SAP support practices.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Federal Secret security clearance are required; active clearance is preferred.
• At least five years of SAP Transportation Management experience, including at least three years dedicated to SAP TM Transit Warehousing and TM–EWM integration.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition and SAP TM Transit Warehousing configuration, including freight-order types, EWM document types, item types, and SAP TM-to-SAP EWM delivery-item mappings.
• Experience configuring and administering SAP Fiori Transportation Management applications for order-based and delivery-based transportation requirements, including target mappings, business catalogs, technical catalogs, and business roles.
• Proficiency with TM–EWM integration, loading appointment processing, freight-order execution, transportation-unit management, and EWM Integration Profile configuration.
• Advanced knowledge of Shipping and Receiving processes and integration across SAP TM, SAP EWM, Shipping and Receiving, Materials Management Inventory Management, and Logistics Execution.
• Understanding of SAP Transportation Management capability tiers and SAP Freight and Warehouse Management component behavior.
• Experience supporting inbound and outbound transportation execution and troubleshooting complex SAP TM Transit Warehousing and TM–EWM integration issues.
• Creativity, adaptability, client-facing problem-solving ability, strong organization and time management, excellent written and verbal communication, and professional presence.

Nice to have

• Experience with federal agencies, defense programs, government-contracting environments, or Department of War programs.
• Familiarity with SAP EWM Yard Management, transportation units, vehicle hierarchies, Advanced Shipping and Receiving, EDIFACT messaging, and harmonized logistics data models.
• Experience transitioning from legacy transportation functionality to SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management.
• Knowledge of federal compliance, configuration-management, and change-control practices.
• Strong stakeholder-management, customer and vendor relationship, teamwork, independent-work, data-standards, and policy-compliance skills.
