Data & AI Apprenticeship (Fintech)

Location: Leeds, UK; hybrid working with at least two office days per week, with apprentices expected in the office most days during the initial settling-in period. Relocation closer to the Leeds office is strongly recommended for commutes exceeding 1.5 hours.

Salary: £27,400 per year; fixed apprenticeship salary.

What you will do

• Work with large and complex datasets to identify patterns and generate actionable insights.
• Develop data products, dashboards and visualisations for business leaders and customers.
• Apply predictive modelling and forecasting to support fraud prevention and smarter financial decisions.
• Help make data accessible, ethical and useful across the organisation.
• Build practical skills through real projects and classroom-based learning.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old on 1 September 2027.
• GCSE grades 4–9 in both Maths and English, already achieved.
• Three A levels at grades CCC; predicted grades are accepted, but any offer is conditional on successful achievement.
• Currently hold valid Right to Work in the UK; the visa end date must extend beyond the apprenticeship programme, which may last up to five years.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this apprenticeship role.
