Product Director (FX & Accounts)

Location: Singapore, with London also considered; hybrid.

What you will do

• Coordinate the FX and Accounts product offering across conversion, rates, currency risk management, treasury, accounting automations, controls, approvals, and earn.
• Build the currency hedging product from pilot to a scaled, commercially repeatable proposition as an individual contributor during the initial phase.
• Own hedging flow, payment volume, balances, treasury adoption, and earn revenue; define KPIs covering conversion, spreads, take rate, adoption, retention, and balances.
• Partner with Treasury and liquidity providers on pricing, spreads, and unit economics to approach best-in-market rates.
• Ship FX intelligence and an agentic advisory layer, and shape controls, approvals, and accounting automations for finance teams.
• Lead product leaders and managers, align Product, Engineering, Design, Sales, Treasury, and Compliance, and position the area against tier-one banks, institutional FX providers, and hedging specialists.

Requirements

• Proven senior product experience in FX, treasury, or financial markets at a fintech or financial institution, including leadership of other product leaders.
• Deep understanding of FX execution, including rate engines, spread management, liquidity relationships, and wholesale pricing mechanics.
• Experience building or closely supporting hedging or structured FX products such as forwards and options.
• Commercial understanding of FX margin and treasury economics, including winning and retaining flow through tier-one bank relationships.
• Experience translating complex financial concepts into products used by Finance Directors and treasury teams.
• Strong cross-functional leadership across Product, Engineering, and Design, with the ability to manage senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work hands-on and strategically in a scaling business whose product organisation is still being built.
• Adaptable, outcome-focused, ruthlessly prioritising, collaborative but opinionated, and willing to question established approaches.
• Curious and inquisitive, with a habit of investigating customer situations, data, and the reasoning behind decisions.
• Comfortable using AI tools for research, drafting, analysis, and prototyping while remaining accountable for the results.
• Must have the right to work in the jurisdiction where the candidate will work.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with agentic or data-driven advisory products.
• Understanding of stablecoin on- and off-ramps in a regulated context.
• Experience with earn or yield products.
