Head of Product & Design, APAC (Fintech)

Location: Raffles Place, Singapore; flexible hybrid working with 2 days from home

What you will do

• Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, North Star, and product metrics across Australia, Japan, Singapore, and emerging markets.
• Lead product localization across languages, payment behaviors, regulatory requirements, and client expectations while balancing a shared platform with market-specific customization.
• Own product design, UX, and UX research across APAC, building the design and research function and improving the client experience from onboarding through daily use.
• Lead onboarding, KYC, funding, activation, retention, and reactivation across the client lifecycle while balancing regulatory compliance and conversion.
• Develop new propositions including reduced-spread trading, options, retail crypto, and tokenization, partnering with Marketing and commercial leaders on growth.
• Build and lead the APAC product and design organization, collaborate with global product and engineering teams, and align delivery across regulated entities and markets.

Requirements

• Experience building and leading product at scale for regulated digital financial products in a crypto exchange, fintech, digital bank, payments, or trading business, with ownership across several distinct markets.
• Hands-on experience with monetization, onboarding and KYC, funding and payment rails, compliance-driven product design, and growth.
• Direct ownership or strong leadership experience across product design and UX research, with a high standard for product quality and usability.
• Experience building and leading large, multi-market teams, setting operating models for distributed organizations, and building or scaling a product hub.
• Deep understanding of Asian markets, regulators, payment behaviors, client expectations, and product localization across materially different markets.
• Experience working within a global product organization and alongside regional and central engineering teams.
• Experience navigating MAS or equivalent regulators as a product owner.

Nice to have

• Experience running platform consolidations or migrations.
• Experience with CFDs or leveraged products.
