Project Coordinator II (Cultural Resource Management)

Location: College Station, Texas, United States; responsibilities support Fort Irwin's cultural resource management program and include site visits.

What you will do

• Provide technical expertise, guidance, and management support for Fort Irwin National Historic Preservation Act consultation and Section 106/110 documentation.
• Coordinate project initiation, value assessments, work plans, estimating, project controls, milestones, permits, and deadlines.
• Perform geospatial mapping of cultural resources and other GIS work, and review and revise technical reports.
• Develop ARPA and NAGPRA plans of action for inadvertent discoveries and assist with ICRMP and agreement document tasks.
• Support Tribal consultation, meetings, site visits, and documentation and evaluation of built features, structures, archaeological sites, Sacred sites, and Traditional Cultural Places.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an applicable field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Four years of related experience.
• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications and standard proofreading.
• Ability to multitask, work cooperatively, prioritize, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
