Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 annual base salary, plus equity

hirify.global is building an operating system for modern fitness and wellness businesses, helping studios manage schedules, bookings, payments, video libraries, retreats, marketing, and branded apps and websites.

What you will do

• Build customer-facing AI products that automate operational work for studio operators.
• Build and improve agentic loops, AI tooling, and automation that strengthen the product and engineering delivery process.
• Own features end to end, from scoping ambiguous customer problems through shipping and measurement.
• Work across TypeScript, Node, NestJS, React, and Postgres to deliver product improvements.
• Simplify infrastructure and operations while strengthening observability, alerting, debugging, and production safety nets.
• Support teammates through code review, pairing, mentorship, and adoption of effective engineering patterns.

Requirements

• Usually 5+ years of software engineering experience; demonstrated evidence matters more than years alone.
• Full-stack contribution across multiple layers; single-layer-only profiles are not suitable.
• Fluency and comfort working with JavaScript and TypeScript, including candidates from adjacent ecosystems.
• Heavy daily use of AI tooling beyond autocomplete; experience with agentic workflows, evaluations, or automation is a strong plus.
• Meaningful contribution to a migration or large-scale refactor.
• Hands-on production reliability experience, including observability, alerting, and debugging live issues.
• Experience improving teams through code review, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
• Strong product judgment, pragmatic scoping of ambiguous problems, and incremental delivery.
• Comfort working with high autonomy and low process.

Hiring process

• Successful onboarding is expected to include a production shipment during the first week, ownership of a meaningful product or platform area within 90 days, and customer-facing AI functionality within the first 90 days.
