People Operations Lead

What you will do

• Own day-to-day People Operations, including onboarding, benefits administration, employee support, and offboarding.
• Build performance management programs covering feedback cycles, annual reviews, promotions, and employee development.
• Implement People systems and tools to streamline employee workflows and processes.
• Maintain employee policies and documentation, including offer letters, handbooks, leave policies, and office policies.
• Manage employment compliance across the US and UK and monitor labor law and regulatory changes.
• Partner with leadership on culture, engagement, employee experience, scalable People infrastructure, and AI-driven workflow automation.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in People Operations, HR, or a related generalist role.
• Hands-on experience with benefits, onboarding, employment compliance, and performance management.
• Strong understanding of US employment laws and UK employment law, or the ability to ramp quickly, including leave policies, employee classification, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience building or managing feedback cycles, promotions, and annual reviews.
• Highly autonomous, scrappy, and comfortable building processes from scratch in a fast-moving environment.
• Exceptional judgment and discretion, with the ability to handle sensitive employee and business information confidentially.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with employees and leadership.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day execution.
