Software Sr. AI Engineer (Full Stack)

Location: New York, New York; hybrid

Base salary: $160,600–$224,950 USD annually

What you will do

• Transform ambiguous problems into high-performing AI features and standalone production tools.
• Architect intelligence and integration layers connecting autonomous agents to enterprise infrastructure.
• Build memory architectures and vector stores with context retention, deletion, and data-retention controls.
• Develop pipelines and entity-resolution logic across CRM, ERP, CPQ, and marketing systems to create reliable sources of truth.
• Partner with business and stakeholder teams to identify valuable use cases, guide adoption, and communicate model performance feedback.
• Deploy continuous model evaluation, semantic caching, and routing logic to detect risks, reduce latency, and optimize inference costs.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of general software engineering experience, including distributed systems, asynchronous patterns, API design, microservices, and databases.
• Ability to pivot to the language or framework best suited to the task.
• Hands-on experience deploying RAG and agentic workflows into production using LLM APIs, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks.
• Experience building and maintaining pipelines across fragmented CRM, ERP, CPQ, and marketing systems.
• Experience with entity resolution, schema design, and data quality rather than only consuming clean data.

• Experience with bleeding-edge AI tools and top-tier compute resources.
• Experience delivering software directly to users in days rather than months.
