What you will do

• Perform month-end accounting processes, prepare journal entries, analysis, and management reporting within internal deadlines.
• Provide insight, recommendations, and meaningful interpretation of financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Maintain internal controls, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with SOx and other regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors and provide required evidence and supporting narratives.
• Identify, simplify, standardise, and automate finance processes in collaboration with automation teams.
• Work with senior stakeholders and internal and external teams across multiple locations to deliver improvements and best practice.

Requirements

• Professional accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• Qualified accountant with management accounting and/or audit experience.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience working within large corporate structures and complex environments while delivering to deadlines.
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills, such as Oracle and Hyperion/HFM.
• Experience researching emerging or complex accounting and reporting issues.
• Assurance mindset with the ability to identify, articulate, resolve, and mitigate risks in processes and reconciliations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to coach and develop others and lead meetings with senior stakeholders.
• Organised, adaptable, resilient, self-motivated, solution-driven, collaborative, and able to work under pressure with a consultative approach.
