Strategic Sourcing Analyst II / Senior

What you will do

• Implement and maintain strategic sourcing analytics across multiple programs and categories, including compression, EHS, heavy equipment, IT, PVF, pipeline integrity, tank services, and temporary staffing.
• Partner with sourcing specialists on sourcing events, bid analysis, supplier evaluation, and award recommendations.
• Analyze spend, demand trends, supplier consolidation opportunities, market conditions, commodity pricing, and supplier risk.
• Develop sourcing strategies, cost models, total-cost-of-ownership comparisons, savings tracking, supplier KPIs, and bid analysis tools.
• Present sourcing strategies, savings, results, and clear data-driven recommendations to leadership.
• Create ad hoc reports and support continuous improvement through data analysis and AI-powered tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a related discipline is preferred.
• 5–10 years of analytical experience in procurement, supply chain, finance, or a related analytical role is preferred; 10 years of analytical or related experience is required in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Working knowledge of the energy industry and related commodities.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, time-management, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Experience using AI-powered tools to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for sourcing and business decisions.
• Ability to lead projects, influence stakeholders, mentor others, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, lookups, and data modeling; intermediate proficiency in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
