ERP Consultant (Vertex)

What you will do

• Maintain the Vertex system, configure tax rules, verify tax calculations, and support version management.
• Analyze customer requirements and tailor Vertex and SAP processes to meet business objectives.
• Plan and deploy solutions, support data conversion, and perform unit or integration testing.
• Support end users across relevant company sites through troubleshooting, training, documentation, and ongoing communication.
• Coordinate with headquarters on SAP implementation management, tax changes, process optimization, and issue resolution.
• Monitor issue status and operating performance, recommend improvements, and provide primary on-call support.

Requirements

• Full-lifecycle Vertex or similar US tax system implementation experience, especially integration with SAP.
• Experience with sales and use tax processes and strong knowledge of US tax processes.
• Experience with solution design, implementation, post-implementation support, testing, result tracking, training materials, and documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline with an information technology focus.
• 2–5 years of experience as a process consultant or in a similar role.
• Knowledge and experience delivering projects in an agile framework.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Project management experience covering conceptualization, organization, planning, test execution, user training, and training-material documentation.
• Understanding of the system development lifecycle, application development dynamics, and information technology practices and methods.
• Bi-lingual Korean is required.
