HW Qual and DST Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Albany, NY, United States; relocation eligible; travel required up to 10% of the time.

Salary: $144,000.00–$198,000.00 per year.

What you will do

• Act as a technical expert in at least two R&D disciplines: optics, electronics, motion, or SEM.
• Support module owners with off-tool and on-tool module integration, calibration, and qualification.
• Qualify module performance against specifications and support R&D development activities.
• Lead qualification of complex non-system components, including risk assessment and qualification planning.
• Define, execute, and qualify calibration procedures and own complex tool builds and integrations.
• Define and qualify build books and subsystem ATP tests; provide advanced debugging and third-level module escalation support.

Requirements

• Depth and/or breadth of expertise in a specialized technical discipline.
• Expertise in at least two of the following areas: optics, electronics, motion, or SEM.
• Ability to interpret business challenges and recommend best practices for improving products, processes, or services.
• Ability to lead others in solving complex problems through sophisticated analytical judgment.
• Ability to communicate difficult concepts and negotiate technical decisions with others.
• Willingness to work in Albany, New York, and travel 10% of the time.
