Lead Network Architect (M/F/X)

Equans operates a global IT organisation with colleagues across the globe and delivers shared infrastructure services for the wider Equans organisation.

What you will do

• Define architectural direction and network and security infrastructure services for the Shared Line of Service Infrastructure.
• Manage the Network Expertise Team, prioritise its backlog, define objectives, and coordinate expert activities using agile methodology.
• Design and support services across SWAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, NAC, internet access, VPN, firewalling, backbone, on-premises, and cloud environments.
• Lead multi-vendor RFPs, define budgets, support service catalogue products, and coordinate architecture board approvals.
• Align services with Equans SLAs, security and risk controls, ITIL processes, KPIs, and customer requirements.
• Participate in SLS and corporate boards, communicate with network experts, and provide insights on service adoption, delivery, and supported business demands.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of IT experience.
• Experience managing teams with network expertise and working in worldwide companies with 10,000 or more employees.
• Experience designing services based on market technologies for business needs in hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience designing and delivering network infrastructure services, including SWAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, NAC, internet access, VPN, firewalling, and backbone services.
• Experience with agile methodology and planning and rolling out relevant ITIL processes.
• Experience managing service-level requirements, service catalogue KPIs, security compliance, risk assurance assessments, and INCOME controls.
• BSc degree in engineering, computer science, or an IT discipline.
• ITIL Practitioner qualification and certifications related to network expertise.
• Ability to design and maintain on-premises and cloud-based services.
• Strong collaboration, communication, customer orientation, business acumen, influencing, adaptability, initiative, and continuous-improvement mindset.
