Network Administrator (Gamedev)

Location: Office-based in Paris, France; offices are located in Saint-Mandé.

What you will do

• Install and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, private network links, and dedicated peering.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, secure, and optimize network infrastructure and services.
• Evaluate requirements, contribute to technical designs and standards, and document network hardware and software.
• Drive automation and proactive capacity management to improve operational efficiency and consistency.
• Plan network and systems evolution, resolve complex partner issues, and answer user queries and service requests.
• Mentor new administrators and act as a technical point of reference within the team.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Network Administrator.
• Expert-level knowledge of routing technologies, including BGP and OSPF.
• Expert-level knowledge of switching technologies, including VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, VTP, and Layer 2/Layer 3 switching protocols.
• Expert-level ability to develop techniques and methodologies for resolving unprecedented problems and situations.
• Effective communication with all levels of management and the ability to make complex information accessible.
• Critical thinking, proactive identification of governance or prioritization concerns, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Honesty, integrity, and confidentiality must be maintained.

Nice to have

• Good knowledge of Linux environments.
• Strong expertise in automation with Python and Ansible, including hands-on CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Knowledge of cloud networking concepts, including AWS and Azure.
