Senior Platform Engineer (FinTech)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid 4/1 model with 30 days of occasional remote work

Salary: PLN 20,500–27,250 per month under an employment contract, plus an annual performance and company-results bonus and a discretionary hirify.global.eu share incentive plan.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain tools, automations, and integrations for product developers.
• Support and improve Kubernetes workloads, including Istio and ArgoCD.
• Design and implement highly available multi-region platform setups.
• Research technologies, run proofs of concept, and document technical analyses.
• Help product teams use the platform efficiently across hundreds of microservices and millions of customers.

Requirements

• Experience with platform engineering, Kubernetes, and GitOps, including Istio, ArgoCD, or Helm.
• Experience with public cloud services, preferably Azure.
• Skills in PowerShell or Bash scripting.
• Understanding of distributed systems and their design.
• Experience with containerization and cloud computing.
• Interest in building software and tools for other developers, sharing knowledge, and accepting code-review feedback.
• Ability to find efficient solutions for user needs and continuously develop technical skills.
• English proficiency of at least B2.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java/Kotlin or .NET/C#.
