Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Developer Platform (AWS/Kubernetes)

Location: Poland; Office First - Warsaw, Poland. Candidates must have legal authorization to work in Poland on their first day of employment. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Base salary range: 310 000–372 000 PLN; the range reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for this role within Warsaw.

What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, and operation of highly available, performant, and secure Kubernetes container infrastructure.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD, AWS CodeBuild/Pipeline, GitHub Actions, or similar tools, including blue/green and canary deployment strategies.
• Drive Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code across regions, with emphasis on platform scalability, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
• Develop application-level infrastructure knowledge and build dashboards for cost and inventory management, performance analysis, and capacity planning.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application systems, lead root-cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.
• Lead cross-functional incident resolution, act as a technical subject matter expert, and respond to critical incidents as a primary on-call engineer.

Requirements

• Extensive progressive experience in SRE, DevOps, or Systems Engineering with increasing responsibility.
• Expert understanding of cloud infrastructure fundamentals, including advanced networking, security, and managed services; AWS is preferred.
• Essential programming and scripting skills in Python, Bash, and general Linux tools, focused on scalable automation and tooling.
• Broad UNIX/BSD/Linux internals expertise, including performance tuning, kernel-level debugging, and advanced system administration; Ubuntu is preferred.
• Extensive Kubernetes containerization experience, including cluster management, custom resource definitions, and advanced deployment strategies; KOPS, EKS, and ECS are preferred.
• Proficiency with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, Sumo Logic, or advanced AWS cloud-native tools, with a focus on observability strategy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration, explaining complex technical concepts, and influencing outcomes.
