Lead Platform Engineer (iGaming)

What you will do

• Design and maintain robust, scalable, fault-tolerant platform architecture using cloud-native technologies, microservices, and containers.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the platform engineering team while driving technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Automate cloud provisioning and infrastructure management with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and related tools.
• Embed security practices into platform design and processes and ensure compliance with GLI and UKGC technical standards.
• Own the platform technical roadmap, developer self-service tools, CI/CD pipelines, and standardised workflows.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to support uptime, performance, and rapid production troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering, including at least 2 years in a leadership or senior-capacity role.
• Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Strong software engineering background with proficiency in Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience designing and building highly scalable, resilient, and distributed systems.
• Understanding of information security principles and the technical requirements of iGaming regulators.
• Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing complex production issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Direct experience in B2B iGaming or another high-transactional, regulated industry.
