Technical Editor (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United States; occasional travel may be required.

Salary: $75,000+ annually

What you will do

• Perform quality assurance and primary review for products, deliverables, and artifacts submitted to the government.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, task leads, and the program manager to resolve deliverable issues.
• Prepare templates, updates, edits, technical documentation, strategic briefings, and governance materials.
• Track deliverable due dates, notify task leads of pending requirements, and submit materials to required repositories such as portals, SharePoint, and RTS.
• Maintain version control and document management practices in SharePoint.
• Provide Monthly Status Report templates and updates through Microsoft Teams and support task leads as needed.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and a current DoD Secret clearance are required.
• Bachelor's degree.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
• Five years of overall experience in technical writing, reviewing, or editing.
• Familiarity with IT and/or cybersecurity environments.
• Ability to provide quality assurance for contract deliverables.
• Ability to prepare and present technical documentation, strategic briefings, and governance materials.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.
