Senior Technical Documentation Specialist (AI)

Location: Remote

Salary: $20–$70 per hour

What you will do

• Convert engineering drawings and Bills of Materials into accurate assembly procedures for technical manuals.
• Identify and verify industrial replacement parts using photographs, nameplates, and manufacturer or distributor catalogs.
• Interpret production patterns, markers, and cutting-room plans for accuracy and efficiency.
• Review annotated image batches and verify label accuracy against project guidelines.
• Document technical reasoning, refine technical documents and annotation data, and collaborate remotely with project coordinators to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in one or more relevant fields: mechanical technical writing, industrial parts identification and application analysis, production pattern planning, or computer vision annotation quality assurance.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Excellent analytical, visual, and spatial reasoning skills.
• Experience preparing accurate technical records, reports, or manuals.
• Familiarity with annotation guidelines, quality control, and complex data structures.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to work independently.

• Experience with digital collaboration platforms and remote projects.
