Technical Content Writer (AI)

Location: Remote in the US, or San Francisco/Bay Area, Pittsburgh, PA, or Austin, TX

Salary: $120,00–180,000 base annually, plus a 10% annual bonus, equity, and benefits.

hirify.global develops the Fabric processor architecture and Electron E1 processor to improve energy efficiency for general-purpose computing and AI applications.

What you will do

• Write technical blog posts, application notes, white papers, benchmark reports, newsletters, website pages, solution briefs, and developer content about the Fabric architecture, compiler, workloads, and applications.
• Translate customer applications, benchmarks, and reference designs into clear examples for engineers, product managers, executives, developers, sales teams, and partners.
• Bring up evaluation hardware, build and port applications with the effcc Compiler, measure energy and performance, analyze data, and create explanatory figures.
• Build small demos, sample applications, and reference projects that developers can clone and run, ensuring published measurements are traceable to the relevant workload and hardware.
• Script product walkthroughs, demo videos, technical explainers, presentations, conference talks, webinars, and workshops.
• Review technical accuracy with engineers, track content performance and qualified inbound interest, monitor competing approaches to energy-efficient computing, and update content as products and positioning evolve.

Requirements

• Degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least three years of experience in semiconductors, embedded systems, or processor and compiler tools, in engineering, marketing, or a combination.
• Examples of writing for technical audiences, including blog posts, application notes, white papers, documentation, or conference papers.
• Fluency in C or C++, with the ability to understand an unfamiliar codebase, build it, and make changes independently.
• Experience with development hardware, including evaluation-board bring-up, sensor connection, serial-console access, and debugging toolchains or unexpected measurements.
• Working knowledge of Python or a similar language for data analysis, plotting, and small internal tools.
• Ability to discuss engineering work in detail and explain its customer relevance, together with clear writing and willingness to edit independently.

Nice to have

• Low-power or battery-powered system design, energy measurement, or power-profiling tools.
• Compilers, instruction set architectures, or dataflow and spatial architectures.
• Experience with drones and autonomy, industrial monitoring, space and defense, or wearable devices.
• Embedded machine learning, digital signal processing, or real-time control.
• HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for interactive demos and technical web content.
• Creating figures, diagrams, and data visualizations for technical results.
• Conference speaking, workshop leadership, or audience development.
