What you will do

• Implement, maintain, and support network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, routers, and monitoring systems.
• Rack and cable network equipment.
• Support network solutions using routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
• Work with Systems, Security, Clinical Applications, and Data Engineering teams.
• Support network security architectures, virtualization and cloud systems, high-availability solutions, and real-time monitoring.
• Use packet capture and troubleshooting tools to diagnose network issues.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of working knowledge of deploying and maintaining IT environments.
• Knowledge of routing and switching for implementing and maintaining network solutions; Cisco technologies are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and network protocols.
• Adeptness with packet capture and network troubleshooting tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
• Cisco networking certification such as CCNA is preferred.
• Experience with wireless technologies, network security architectures including firewalls, VPNs, ACLs, and IDS/IPS, virtualization and cloud systems, and high availability and real-time monitoring is preferred.
