What you will do

• Design, develop, and oversee the core investment data management platform.
• Manage 1–2 Scrum teams spanning 9–11 engineers.
• Evaluate the data platform and build short-, medium-, and long-term roadmaps for a scalable, automated, and resilient platform.
• Define product requirements, prioritize data-driven decisions, and align roadmaps across development teams.
• Build release-specific product briefs describing client problems, target personas, value, priority, and high-level approach.
• Collaborate with clients, prospects, internal stakeholders, and development teams to test, implement, and launch new capabilities.

Requirements

• Prior investment management industry experience with strong knowledge of security reference, trade, analytics, pricing, accounting (ABOR/IBOR), performance, risk, and custody data domains.
• Experience managing roadmaps for data pipelines and data management capabilities, including data quality, data governance, information delivery, execution, implementation, and stakeholder influence within asset management.
• 7+ years of Product Manager experience owning successful B2B enterprise SaaS products throughout their lifecycle.
• Knowledge of capital markets and expertise in equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
• At least 5 years of experience with structured financial data management platforms across master data management, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, or data lakehouse.
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP, and SQL databases.
• Exemplary interpersonal, communication, project management, team-building, relationship-building, leadership, organizational, documentation, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; without technical education, proven hands-on technical experience is required.

• Experience at an asset management company or insurance firm.
• CFA or FRM certification.
• Experience with AI, machine learning, or LLM-based projects.
• Experience working with portfolio managers, traders, or researchers.
