Oracle Month End Close Technical Consultant (Oracle EBS)

Location: Remote within the United States, excluding North Dakota, Vermont, and Rhode Island. US citizenship required.

Salary: $70,500–$111,000 annually. For specific work locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $87,000–$131,000 annually.

What you will do

• Inventory and document Oracle EBS customizations, integrations, reports, technical dependencies, and CEMLI components.
• Analyze Oracle EBS processes, system interactions, integrations, data flows, and business dependencies.
• Develop technical designs, support procedures, operational runbooks, and knowledge-management materials.
• Facilitate working sessions with Oracle EBS developers, functional analysts, business stakeholders, and subject-matter experts.
• Identify documentation gaps, support risks, single points of failure, and key-person dependencies.
• Validate technical processes and recovery procedures, and conduct knowledge-transfer and cross-training sessions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications, ERP systems, or business applications.
• Experience with Oracle EBS and with integrations, interfaces, reports, workflows, or custom applications and CEMLI.
• Experience documenting technical processes, system configurations, operational procedures, support runbooks, or knowledge-management artifacts.
• Experience working with technical and business stakeholders to gather and validate information.
• Experience supporting application support, production support, or operational-readiness activities.
• Familiarity with ERP architecture, business process flows, and system dependencies.
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Oracle EBS for Finance, Supply Chain, Projects, or Operations.
• Experience supporting production environments and troubleshooting business-critical applications.
• Familiarity with data flows and application-support models.
• Ability to understand complex technical and business processes, connect technical components to supported business processes, and recommend practical support improvements.
