Senior Delivery Consultant (AI)

Location: London, United Kingdom, with hybrid flexibility; Monday–Thursday typically on-site or hybrid, with travel as required.

What you will do

• Design and operationalize Transformation Offices, including governance structures, performance cadences, and accountability systems.
• Lead transformation workstreams end-to-end, translating strategy into initiatives, milestones, KPIs, and measurable impact.
• Identify and deliver value levers across cost, productivity, procurement, working capital, growth, EBITDA, and financial performance.
• Redesign operating models, governance systems, and performance-management routines to embed sustained impact.
• Coach executives and client teams, build transformation capabilities, and enable ownership of change.
• Collaborate with McKinsey strategists, functional specialists, and digital experts to deliver business outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, engineering, or a similar field, with a strong academic record.
• 4+ years of experience delivering complex transformation or performance-improvement programs with measurable business and financial impact, including EBITDA uplift and Enterprise Value enhancement.
• Ability to lead workstreams or project modules independently from planning through execution and impact delivery, including Transformation Office governance, performance tracking, and leadership cadence.
• Strong influencing skills with senior stakeholders and the ability to work in complex, fast-paced environments.
• Entrepreneurial, resilient, and proactive approach, with structured problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to turn analysis into action.
• Deep functional experience in one or more value-creation areas, such as operating-model redesign, working-capital optimization, procurement excellence, productivity improvement, or P&L transformation.
• Experience with digital or AI-enabled transformation, benefits tracking, or performance-management systems.
• Sector experience in at least one of Financial Services, Insurance, Industrials, Consumer, FMCG, Energy, Life Sciences, or Transport & Logistics.
• Flexibility to travel as required.
• Fluent English language skills.

Nice to have

• Lean/Six Sigma or PMP/Agile certification.
• Functional experience with AI-related solutions, including analytics, automation, or AI-enabled tools.
