Data Engineer (IT Data Analytics)

Location: Maplewood, Minnesota, onsite at least 4 days per week; travel may include up to 10%. Relocation assistance may be authorized. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Expected compensation: $109,202–$133,469, including base pay plus variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data integration solutions.
• Build trusted data products, curated datasets, reusable data assets, semantic layers, and analytics-ready models.
• Configure, optimize, and operate data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics platforms.
• Apply DevOps practices, including CI/CD, version control, automated testing, and deployment automation.
• Monitor data quality, pipeline performance, platform reliability, and production support processes.
• Partner with product owners, analysts, architects, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable data solutions and troubleshoot complex issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, completed and verified before starting.
• At least five years of IT experience in data analytics, including data engineering, data warehouse development, data pipelines, or data platform configuration.
• Experience must be in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship is required.
• Ability to work onsite in Maplewood, Minnesota, at least four days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL, Python, ETL/ELT development, data modeling, and data quality practices.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, Power BI, or similar data technologies.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW on HANA, or SAP HANA.
• AWS experience supporting data lake, storage, compute, orchestration, and analytics workloads.
• Databricks notebook development, data engineering workflows, or lakehouse architecture experience.
• Experience supporting data lakes, data products, analytics solutions, APIs, or integration development.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, automated testing, and deployment automation.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills; ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
