SAP ABAP Developer (S/4HANA)

Location: Remote; direct W2 employment in the United States. Not open to C2C or 1099 arrangements.

Salary: $115,000–$165,000 annually.

What you will do

• Gather business and technical requirements and document current-state and target-state processes.
• Configure, develop, integrate, or administer enterprise platforms and business applications within approved design standards.
• Coordinate interfaces, data conversion, reporting, security, and process dependencies.
• Plan and execute unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Support deployments, user adoption, issue resolution, production support, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in a related professional role.
• Practical experience with SAP ABAP, ABAP OO, CDS views, OData, enhancements, interfaces, debugging, and S/4HANA development.
• Experience implementing, developing, administering, or supporting the SAP enterprise platform.
• Strong understanding of relevant business processes and SAP core capabilities.
• Experience gathering requirements, configuring or developing solutions, and documenting decisions.
• Knowledge of integrations, data flows, testing, and production support.
• Ability to work with business users, technical teams, and external partners.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Applicants must be U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, or H-1B transfer candidates; new H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.

Nice to have

• Additional hands-on depth in SAP ABAP, ABAP OO, CDS views, OData, enhancements, interfaces, debugging, and S/4HANA development.
• Experience with cloud services, automation, and modern delivery practices.
• Familiarity with secure development, accessibility, governance, or regulatory requirements.
• Relevant professional certifications or advanced training in the technology area.
