Financial Operations Analyst (Financial Services)

Salary: $54,000.00–$85,791.15 USD base salary annually in Massachusetts.

What you will do

• Support new lines of business, process improvements, risk reduction, cost savings initiatives, and best-practice identification.
• Analyze business needs, constraints, and operational data to recommend solutions and improve business systems.
• Provide daily and ad hoc client support, prepare documentation, complete audits, and resolve escalated issues through root-cause analysis.
• Participate in project initiation, requirements, design, testing, fund setup or conversion, and post-implementation support.
• Gather client information, define system requirements, and coordinate with internal technology and support teams to implement solutions.
• Support annual initiatives such as fiduciary fees, mailings, history purges, dead fund purges, and small-balance account liquidations.

Requirements

• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, multitasking, prioritization, deadline management, and time-sensitive commitment management.
• Computer experience with Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Interpersonal, customer service, and strong service-orientation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, coordinate activities, and enlist cooperation from others.
• Knowledge of transaction processing, the mutual fund industry, and transfer agent operations.
• General knowledge of SS&C AMS systems and reporting capabilities.
• Ability to persuade others, manage conflict, ask probing questions, listen perceptively to client needs, and provide timely solutions.
• Ability to obtain information, propose technical solutions aligned with client needs, and confirm system requirements.
