Technology Financial Operations (FinOps) Analyst (Cloud FinOps)

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 USD annually; bonus eligible.

What you will do

• Lead Public Cloud FinOps, including AWS and Azure cost analysis, anomaly research, and monthly cost and usage reporting.
• Manage private cloud hardware assets, vendor invoices, maintenance, and hardware refresh projects.
• Develop and expand public and private cloud consumption models and present findings in monthly business meetings.
• Collaborate with Technology, Finance, and Engineering teams to explain infrastructure and financial implications.
• Identify bottlenecks, recommend improvements, and manage projects against timeline, budget, risk, and completion targets.
• Analyze FinOps business cases and refine consumption models across cloud, software, labor, telecom, and mainframe services to improve cost allocation and investment decisions.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in FinOps or Finance.
• Proficiency in developing Power BI models and dashboards.
• Experience with public cloud vendors, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• General understanding of data center hardware and lease or capital financial implications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Consistent record of delivering results, strong interpersonal skills, and experience interacting with clients or users at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high quality standards.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Finance experience with planning, forecasting, and consumption models.
