Temporary External Auditor (Healthcare Data Audit)

Location: Remote within the United States; applicants must reside in California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Washington.

Salary: $100.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Independently audit the hirify.global Top Hospitals 2027 results and ratings before publication.
• Map the audit process and document methodology-to-code traceability, testing evidence, and reproducibility validation.
• Compare Python code with the methodology report to identify discrepancies.
• Review Excel outputs against the methodology report, including checking star ratings against percentiles.
• Provide detailed documentation confirming whether the methodology was implemented appropriately and results can be reproduced.

Requirements

• Experience analyzing CMS healthcare quality measures.
• Proficiency in Python and Excel.
• Experience quality-checking healthcare measure calculations and outputs.
• Ability to translate complex technical content into insights for diverse audiences.
• Highly precise and detailed record-keeping skills.
• Excellent research skills and an industrious problem-solving approach.
