Software Engineer (Cyber)

Location: Must be located in the National Capital Region or San Antonio, TX, United States

Salary: $77,000–$163,000 per year, based on qualifications, experience, and expertise.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy complex software systems for mission-critical offensive cyber operations.
• Implement software features from user stories and acceptance criteria using SAFe Agile methodologies.
• Develop microservices with containerization technologies and integrate Government platform services and APIs.
• Implement and maintain DevSecOps pipelines, automated unit and integration testing, and a minimum of 80% test coverage.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, SAFe ceremonies, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent substitution.
• Proficiency in one or more of Python, Java, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with test-driven development and automated testing.
• Familiarity with Git, collaborative development, RESTful API design and implementation, and Linux/Unix environments.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and located in the National Capital Region or San Antonio area.
