Commissioning Agent (Electrical)

Location: Remote, Alberta, Canada; frequent travel throughout Alberta is required for onsite commissioning services.

Compensation: $80,000–$95,000 per year.

What you will do

• Use cloud-based commissioning technology and software.
• Develop detailed functional performance test procedures.
• Attend and chair commissioning-related meetings and take minutes.
• Complete onsite commissioning forms and identify system deficiencies.
• Represent VSC Group at site meetings, report progress, identify outstanding contractor requirements, and answer contractor and client or owner representative questions.

Requirements

• Electrical Engineering degree or a related technologist or technician diploma/degree.
• At least 2 years of equivalent MEP construction, commissioning, and project management experience.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Project.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to respond thoughtfully and effectively to sensitive situations and meet tight deadlines.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
