Materials Lead

Location: San Jose Office (First St), United States; hybrid workplace with telecommuting allowed and 15–20% domestic travel

Salary: $122,158–$204,000 per year

What you will do

• Improve inventory accuracy across systems and physical counts using quantitative analysis and process engineering.
• Collaborate with Logistics to improve productivity and ensure timely availability of high-value materials at a $10M+ scale.
• Lead daily reconciliations, variance resolution, root-cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain SOPs and compliance documentation for SOX, ISO, FSVP, and OSHA requirements.
• Manage post-deployment workflows, fixed-asset entry and lifecycle management, depreciation tracking, and system-based controls in ERP systems.
• Develop procurement insights, KPI dashboards, storage and transfer best practices, and automation with Python, SQL, and other tools.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in the offered role or related occupations.
• At least 1 year of experience establishing product compliance requirements and maintaining an FDA-compliant FSVP program.
• At least 1 year of experience developing cross-departmental SOPs, overseeing training and implementation, reducing overhead costs, and establishing process-improvement and quality-control benchmarks.
• At least 1 year of experience identifying and formulating KPIs and clarifying management objectives.
• At least 1 year of experience validating operational processes with statistical regression models and aligning procurement, production, and demand planning cross-functionally.
• At least 1 year of experience formulating and mapping department processes using the ARIS enterprise modeling approach and preparing management reports with recommended solutions.
