CrowdStrike Platform Resident Consultant (Remote)

Location: USA — Remote; ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Base salary: $85,000–$120,000 per year for U.S. candidates, plus eligibility for bonuses, equity grants, and benefits.

What you will do

• Act as the primary technical advisor for strategic customer accounts and build trusted relationships with security teams and leadership.
• Understand customer security operations, use cases, and business objectives, and mentor teams on Falcon best practices and threat hunting.
• Plan, deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and operationalize the CrowdStrike Falcon platform and its modules.
• Engineer software deployment solutions, develop scripts and applications using Falcon APIs, and integrate Falcon with existing tools.
• Support vulnerability and asset management through CrowdStrike applications and guide customer leads with incident management functions.
• Coordinate customer projects and status updates while collaborating with customer IT and Professional Services teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, and/or equivalent military or work experience.
• 5+ years of experience with relevant security applications, including endpoint, identity, cloud, or SIEM technologies, including 3+ years of client-facing consulting experience.
• Basic understanding of software deployment technologies and knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
• Experience in computer and network systems security.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, training, time-management, prioritization, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences and work independently in a remote, embedded environment.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, increase efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience with Falcon, antivirus, or EDR solutions.
• Experience with SCCM, Group Policy, McAfee EPO, IBM BigFix, Puppet, Chef, Citrix, PDQ, or PsExec.
• Development experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Batch.
• Experience with host-based firewall, file integrity management, data protection, vulnerability management, attack surface management, or IT automation.
• Experience with SIEM, MSSQL, Splunk, or LogScale.
• Experience with Identity, Active Directory, Azure AD, or SSO.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Currently holding or being able to obtain necessary security clearances according to customer requirements.
