Business Unit Controller (Submarines)

Location: Based in Lund, with the conditions listing Lund or Karlskrona, Sweden. The role requires passing a security clearance process; certain citizenship requirements may apply for security-classified positions.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and support a team of controllers.
• Own business control, financial analysis, reporting, and performance follow-up for BU Submarines.
• Manage P&L and balance-sheet follow-up, business plans, budgets, forecasts, and month-end closing.
• Forecast costs and follow up the financial performance of long-term contracts.
• Develop KPIs and business performance models, and evaluate investments and business cases.
• Prepare decision materials and presentations for management, steering committees, and external auditors while supporting bids and proposals.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in business controlling within a large and complex organization.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing people.
• Ability to act as a business partner to senior management and to challenge and influence the organization.
• Good understanding of project-based business, investments, and long-term business commitments.
• Ability to combine strategic perspective with operational execution.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Ability to pass the required security clearance process; certain citizenship requirements may apply for security-classified positions.
