Senior Software Engineer (Applied AI)

Salary: $200,000–$240,000 annually, plus 0.08%–0.18% equity

What you will do

• Apply existing agents and frontier models across worker, business, operations, and marketplace applications.
• Automate worker vetting, matching, fulfillment, and other staffing workflows.
• Lead frontend and backend development while mentoring other engineers.
• Architect and build real-time matching, autonomous vetting pipelines, distributed systems, and APIs.
• Own product surfaces end to end in partnership with product and design.
• Partner with the CTO on architecture and roadmap and build platform capabilities for the company.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience across frontend and backend development.
• Experience with TypeScript, React or React Native, and Node.js or Python.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, distributed systems, PostgreSQL, and messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs or agents into real products, including prompting, tool wiring, and evaluations.
• Track record of shipping scalable, performant products in fast-moving, ambiguous, early-stage environments.
• Ability to work across API design, UX, and deployment infrastructure.
• Product-engineering mindset focused on applying models and agents to real-world automation rather than researching or building orchestration internals.
