Business Analyst (IT)

Location: Elancourt, France. The role requires travel 30% of the time within the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe.

What you will do

• Advise customers on using IT solutions to meet business objectives and requirements.
• Align customer needs with Airbus SLC solutions, including application integration and interfacing.
• Analyze market status, trends, and size.
• Present solution options through technical whitepapers, presentations, and workshops.
• Develop technical offers that match customer needs with Airbus SLC solutions.
• Collaborate with portfolio management and the wider team to implement solutions using agile methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or IT; complementary commercial or sales education is advantageous.
• 5+ years of work experience in a technology field, including software development, application integration, or software testing.
• Good understanding of database integration, network and application security, cloud computing, SaaS, and mobile application development.
• Practical knowledge of business case definition, feasibility assessment, cost-benefit analysis, and project sizing or costing.
• Project management skills and experience with agile methods, including Scrum.
• Fluent spoken English.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and sufficient knowledge of engineering systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers.

Nice to have

• Understanding of PMR systems or IP technology.
• Understanding of telecommunications system architecture and application system integration.
• Experience in a sales or commercial support environment.
• Experience in commercial aircraft or airport operations domains.
