What you will do

• Teach college-level Communication courses for Spring 2027, including Fundamentals of Public Speaking and other Communication electives.
• Deliver classes face-to-face or online.
• Support active and collaborative learning through instructional technology.
• Respond promptly to students, faculty, and staff and work cooperatively with department colleagues.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in communication or a closely related discipline.
• Prior teaching experience in a university setting.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively with faculty and staff and respond promptly to student, faculty, and staff queries.
• Interest in active and collaborative learning, instructional technology, and hybrid and online teaching.

• A full-time teaching load of four or five sections may be available, but is not guaranteed and depends on course availability and departmental needs.

Hiring process

• If selected, official transcripts must be sent directly by each degree-granting institution. International transcripts must be translated, evaluated, and notarized by the candidate.
