Product Engineering Intern (Semiconductor)

Location: Burlington, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 26–28.5 per hour

What you will do

• Support new product development activities from early-stage development through production transfer.
• Assist with NPI processes, documentation compliance, research, design projects, and product transfers to offshore production facilities.
• Support wafer-level and bench product characterization, including test coverage planning, data collection, correlation, and specification-based limit setting.
• Use ATE and laboratory equipment to collect and analyze device data for product release and manufacturability decisions.
• Review and help optimize test coverage, test limits, guard bands, test efficiency, test time, and test cost under senior engineer guidance.
• Collaborate with engineering and functional groups and prepare reports and presentations covering process, voltage, temperature, and device performance relationships.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering, with at least 3 years of coursework completed.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present data and findings clearly.
• Methodical, organized, adaptable to shifting priorities, and able to work in a fast-paced engineering environment.
• Self-motivated, able to take ownership of assigned tasks and follow through with minimal supervision.
• Safety-conscious with clean, orderly work habits and a methodical approach to engineering tasks.
• Collaborative team player able to work effectively with people of diverse personalities, backgrounds, and skill levels.
