Entry Level Mechanical Engineer

Location: Wilmington, MA, United States

Base salary: $88,000–$95,000 per year, with potential annual incentive and/or long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Develop mechanical designs for new technologies and products.
• Build, test, and refine prototypes based on test results.
• Use CNC machining and turning centers, 3D printers, laser cutters, and scientific and engineering equipment.
• Collaborate with mechanical, scientific, electrical, optical, and industrial design engineers, manufacturing partners, and clients.
• Support product development from initial concepts through production.

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Broad technical background and a desire to continue learning.
• Experience with 3D CAD; SolidWorks is preferred.
• Creative problem-solving, strong communication, hands-on building, collaboration, and results-oriented work habits.

Nice to have

• Experience with manufacturing processes such as injection molding, machining, sheet metal, or casting.
• Experience designing biomedical products or industrial automation.
