Project Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Courtright, Ontario, Canada

Salary: $114,400–$164,400 base pay

What you will do

• Lead capital and plant maintenance projects from conceptual development through commissioning and project closeout.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams across mechanical, civil/structural, electrical, instrumentation, controls, and process disciplines.
• Monitor engineering and construction contractors for compliance with design specifications, site requirements, and applicable codes.
• Define project scopes, develop schedules, prepare bid packages, evaluate technical proposals, and recommend contract and equipment awards.
• Manage project funds, forecast monthly cash flows, provide field engineering support, and resolve technical issues during construction.
• Lead Management of Change activities and participate in turnaround planning and execution.

Requirements

• Engineering degree; Mechanical or Process Engineering is preferred.
• Professional Engineer designation or eligibility for registration.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, equipment selections, and vendor documentation.
• Five or more years of related experience, including project management and implementation experience.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening, including a criminal background check, drug and alcohol testing, drivers abstract, employment references, and education verification.
• Participation in required training is mandatory.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
