IT Lab Administrator (Linux)

What you will do

• Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual Linux servers in on-premises laboratory environments.
• Analyze and resolve complex Linux server, operating system, hardware, and cross-domain infrastructure issues.
• Validate technical purchase requests for hardware, software, and specialized laboratory equipment.
• Collaborate with Networking, Storage, Systems, and Information Security teams, as well as lab owners and R&D stakeholders.
• Maintain switches, DHCP configurations, PXE boot environments, subnets, desktop PCs, workstations, NUCs, and peripheral devices.
• Manage software installations, user access, permissions, technical support, scripting, automation, documentation, and AI productivity workflows.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on Linux system administration experience.
• Experience with PXE booting, DHCP, image creation, and hardware testing for PCs and NUCs.
• Proficiency with Linux virtualization technologies and familiarity with Ansible, Docker, Zabbix, and ELK.
• Strong scripting and automation skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, an assertive, curious, and persistent mindset, and a customer-oriented approach.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience with server, GPU, and data center environments is advantageous.
• Relevant certifications are advantageous.
