Location: Remote, based in Herzliya, Tel Aviv District, Israel

What you will do
- Manage and maintain Linux servers running Rocky Linux, CentOS, RHEL, and Ubuntu, including OS hardening and security practices.
- Administer Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
- Operate VMware- and Harvester-based virtualization platforms.
- Manage enterprise storage and connectivity using NFS, SMB, and Fibre Channel.
- Maintain backup and recovery solutions, physical servers, hardware, racking, cabling, and data center infrastructure.
- Automate infrastructure and desired-state configuration with Ansible, monitor systems with Zabbix, and handle infrastructure support tickets for technical teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems engineering in a production environment.
- Strong hands-on Linux experience with Rocky Linux, CentOS, RHEL, and Ubuntu, including OS hardening and security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Strong hands-on VMware experience.
- Hands-on Ansible experience for automation and configuration management.
- Extensive enterprise storage experience with NFS, SMB, and Fibre Channel.
- Solid networking knowledge covering DHCP, routing, VLANs, general troubleshooting, and familiarity with Cisco switches.
- Python scripting and automation experience.
- Experience with Zabbix or similar monitoring tools.
- Experience designing and operating backup and recovery solutions.
Nice to have
- Experience with InfiniBox storage.
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault.
- Experience with identity providers such as Okta.
- Experience with IBM AIX.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Harvester.
