Inventory Supervisor (Logistics)

What you will do

• Supervise daily inventory-team activities, allocate tasks, and monitor attendance, productivity, quality, and performance.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee cycle counts, stock checks, full counts, stock adjustments, and warehouse-location accuracy.
• Investigate shortages, overages, incorrect locations, aged, damaged, blocked, and unidentified stock; identify root causes and implement corrective and preventative actions.
• Monitor inbound, put-away, replenishment, picking, returns, and stock-transfer activities affecting inventory accuracy.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports; analyse trends, recurring discrepancies, operational risks, and KPI performance.
• Coordinate with Inbound, Outbound, Quality, Operations, and Systems teams; lead major discrepancy investigations, escalate risks, train team members, and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Previous experience in inventory control, stock control, or warehouse operations.
• Strong understanding of warehouse inventory processes, including cycle counting, stock adjustment, and discrepancy investigation.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to identify inventory risks and discrepancies.
• Experience using WMS or warehouse inventory management systems.
• Good Excel and reporting skills.
• Strong communication and team-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment and coordinate with multiple operational departments while managing competing priorities.

Nice to have

• Previous supervisory or Team Leader experience.
