Regulatory & Capital Reporting Accountant

What you will do

• Maintain the capital model and prepare management information on actual and forecast capital and liquidity metrics.
• Prepare quarterly capital generation figures and FCA regulatory returns covering financial position, performance, capital adequacy, and related metrics.
• Monitor the seeding portfolio and hedging, including capacity for new seeding investments.
• Manage the group dividend process and recommend dividend levels and composition to relevant Boards.
• Calculate FCA fees and prepare key ICARA sections covering capital requirements, stress testing, recovery plans, and wind-down financial impact.
• Support Pillar 3 disclosures, regulatory procedures, and the maintenance of an effective control environment.

Requirements

• Accountancy qualification such as CA, ACA, or ACCA, with relevant post-qualified experience and working knowledge of accounting standards.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to lead and drive change.
• Strong planning and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Flexible and adaptable approach.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements for an investment management group.
• Knowledge of investment management financial dynamics and the factors influencing regulatory capital metrics.
• Knowledge of the Investment Firms Prudential Regime (IFPR).
